The Station, a grocery and deli, will open, likely in mid-November, in the space that previously housed Little Rock Paint and Wallpaper, in the wedge where Kavanaugh and Markham meet in Stifft Station. Owners Holly Ingebo and Casey Pierce say they’ll serve local and organic foods in the deli, with a menu that fluctuates depending on the availability of local foods. Locally roasted coffee and fresh juices will be on hand, too. In the grocery, they’ll offer vitamins, supplements, natural body care products, local wines and beer, periodicals and goods from local artisans. The owners plan, too, to hold classes and events, like gluten-free meetings and discussions on how to eat well on a budget.
